Your booking is confirmed once payment is received. Prices include all service fees and GST.

2. Check In/Check Out

Check In: 2.00pm.  

Check Out: 10.00am (earlier Check In or Check Out can be arranged depending on bookings at the time)

3. Cancellations

Cancel 60+ days before arrival → full refund.

Cancel 8 to 59 days before arrival → 50% refund.

Cancel 7 days or less before arrival – no refund.

4. Use of Property/Equipment

Please use the rental only for its intended purpose. No subletting or unauthorised transfers.

5. Damage & Responsibility

You are responsible for any loss or damage to the property, fixtures or furnishings during your stay/rental. The cost to repair any damages caused by you or guests or their visitors will be charged to the credit/debit card used when the booking was made.  We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings.

6. Force Majeure

We reserve the right to cancel a booking at any time due to events beyond our control e.g., weather events, government restrictions, road closures etc.  Should this occur, a full refund will be made.

7. Smoking/Vaping 

Smoking or vaping is prohibited in the accommodation.  If smoking/vaping occurs a deep-cleaning and deodorising fee of $200 will be charged on the credit/debit card used when the booking was made.

8. Pets

The property is not suitable for pets.

9. Children

The property is not suitable for children.

10. Safety and Hazards

River Retreat is a rural property so there are natural hazards, including but not limited to steep banks, cliffs, uneven ground, unfenced areas, slippery surfaces, river flow changes, livestock, and rough terrain.  Man-made hazards such as water features, fishponds, machinery and the general hazards associated with a rural property.
